ABOUT ME

About Me
I’m Arif Vatakara, a photographer from the culturally rich town of Vatakara in Kerala, India, now based in Qatar. Since 2006, I have been working with Ministry of Culture in Qatar, capturing cultural perspectives through the language of images. To me photography is not just about seeing — it's about feeling. Every frame holds a silent story. Light, shadow, expression, and surroundings all come together to form a meaningful narrative. Through conceptual projects like “The Silence of Power,” I explore the unspoken symbols of authority and presence. With the eye of my camera, I strive to document humanity and culture with sincerity, creating images that without words. I tell silent stories through photographs. My journey continues... with you
